5:00-6:00 - SBAC presentation How will this relate to Social Studies?
Showcase what the SBAC has released to the public about what the test they’re proposing will look like. While there is not a Social Studies portion of the test, Social Studies material might appear there (a primary source, painting, etc.) Understanding how the test will be structured and look will help teachers of EVERY content help prepare students.

6:00-7:00 Walkthrough – Close and Critical using Declaration of Independence
Using the two hybrid models I’ve come up with to showcase at the PLC’s, teachers will be walked through what a close and critical lesson in Social Studies could look like, including questioning techniques, selection of an item, etc.
